Aluminium skirting boards with integrated LED lighting fulfill a special function as design elements. Type 357 has an LED channel that emits the light horizontally. It is closed by a translucent flap (LED diffuser). If necessary, the flap can be easily opened, so the lighting technology remains accessible at all times.
Depending on the wall construction, the skirting board can be attached to the surface or mounted flush. Surface mounting is particularly suitable for solid walls in combination with comprehensive door frames as a side closure.
Alternatively, the skirting board can also be installed flush. When using commercially available plasterboard with a thickness of 12.5 mm, the skirting board is flush with the wall.
