The LED stair nosing 219 was developed for dryback floor coverings with a thickness of up to 3 mm. The covering is glued into the profile on the step so that only a 2 mm narrow edge can be seen from above.
The stair nosing can be installed on profiled, undercut steps as well as on block steps.
The 45 mm long vertical leg completely covers the edge of the step on undercut or open steps. At the same time, it serves as a reflective surface for the light radiating downwards.
As for block steps, the vertical profile leg can optionally be covered with design flooring. Then the visible surface of the profile is reduced to just 17 mm. The staircase is illuminated and perfectly sets the scene for the flooring.
The LED stair nosing profile 218 was designed for universal use on all types of flooring, and proved itself at the beginning of 2021 during the renovation of the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, a venerable concert hall from 1908.
